Prior Analytics is a consulting firm specializing in research support, data analysis, and statistical models. My goal is simple—to help you and your team with your research and analysis needs without breaking the bank.

My name is Michael Flynn. I obtained my PhD in political science in 2013 from Binghamton University and have nearly two decades of experience using research, statistical analyses, and data science to better understand important questions and challenges.

I am currently Professor of Political Science at Kansas State University where I teach courses on international politics and research methods. The best part of my job is getting to work with other people to explore new ideas, answer important questions, and solve problems.

With a deep background in social sciences I firmly believe that information should serve you. I aim to communicate the most important information in a clear and concise way to help you get the most out of your data, and to apply it most effectively.

Through my work I’m familiar with a wide range of statistical modeling techniques that can be applied to a wide range of questions.     Sometimes the most effective way to understand data is to look at it. It can also be one of the most effective tools for helping your audience to understand the most vita takeaways from an analysis. I place a special emphasis on clear and effective data visualization techniques to help you quickly and effectively communicate the most important points to the people who matter.

    The most important part of my job s putting all the pieces together. Technical jargon and models don’t do any good if we can’t extract meaning. I have extensive experience bridging this divide and communicating a large number of complex ideas in clear terms to stakeholders. From small summary articles to a large $1.2 million research project, I have experience working on a range of different projects and I can help you and your team with projects of varying sizes.
